The GMCA Education, Work and Skills policy team are currently undertaking a research project regarding potential future reform of the Apprenticeship Levy system, which has been the subject of much debate in the sector, and the subject of commitments from the new Labour Government around widening the levy's remit.
We are seeking GM employers鈥� views on the levy and attitudes toward any reform to inform our policy-making on the issue. A later phase of the work may include a proposal to the new Government about piloting a new approach to the levy in GM, and dovetail with any future asks around devolution. The survey will take between 2-5 minutes to complete, and your responses would be greatly appreciated. Please could you submit your responses by Friday, 19th July 2024.
