Homelessness is not a lifestyle choice. Moments after the breakdown of a relationship, returning from prison or becoming mentally ill (to name a few), the roof we鈥檙e so used to seeing over our heads could be taken away. So, where do you turn?
A beacon of hope in Stockport, Greater Manchester, is about to shine brighter than ever as The Wellspring team up with Home Marketing to raise the charity鈥檚 profile by using their award-winning digital communications services. The partnership is aligned by a social compass that builds connections within communities and transforms the lives of people most in need.
The Wellspring will work with Home Marketing to ensure anyone finding themselves in or at risk of homelessness has access to the support available to them - free meals, hygiene facilities, clothing, support from the professional staff team, health services and consultations with an onsite doctor.
Across Greater Manchester 7,000 people are without a home, hundreds of which will pass through the doors of The Wellspring from 8am each day, 7 days a week, as volunteers and staff ensure this indispensable hub is ready to welcome new and existing service users.
Recent news of The Wellspring becoming Stockport Homes Group鈥檚 Charity of Choice until 2026 is now bolstered by the organisations' in-house marketing agency delivering their website, social media, campaign planning and PR expertise. Not only will this support their fundraising ambitions but relieve pressure on the donations that underpin much of the charity鈥檚 offer.
